The Subaru Impreza is a compact car that has been manufactured by Subaru since 1992. A version of the Impreza known as the WRX (standing for World Rally eXperimental) was also introduced in 1992. STi (Subaru Tecnica International) variants were introduced in 1994, offering improved performance, and were popular with street racers and rally drivers. The GC8F was introduced in 1998.

Cars can be upgraded with different parts, both internal and external, to make the car perform better. The early games offer the player a choice between several courses of upgrades that they would like their car to have, whereas later games give a wider range of options, with players being able to pick what upgrades they want whenever they want them.

The Impreza is only available through cheat code. It is only available as Bunta Fujiwara specification.
