I will say with some minor tweaks, really good! I used honey instead of molasses (didn't have molasses). That was good, but cut back slightly on the volume. I added a little cayenne pepper and some red pepper flakes to give it a kick...Tastes sweet at first, but the bite comes after a few seconds...great recipe!

Fantastic base recipe. I added 1/4 tsp cumin, 1/4 tsp turmeric (I add it to everything for health benefits), and 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper. THEN, I added 1/2 cup Jim Beam Devil’s Cut Bourbon. It really added a great flavor. The alcohol cooks off so you can serve it to anyone. Thanks for sharing this recipe. My husband is in congestive heart failure at 54 years old so I’m constantly looking for yummy low sodium recipes.
