Now I have to get some Tequila to compare, lol!
But...I have never made that connection and I use Dickinson's after every shave.

Ditto, I use WH after most every shave. While it's been quite a while since I've had tequilla, I've neve really made the connection. I get more of a rubber (i.e. new swim fins or the showroom of a tire store) kinda smell out of witch hazel

Has anyone else had this experience or am I just crazy?

Hmmm. I've been here a few years now, off and on, and I must say witch hazel appears to be one of those magical things that is different to everyone who perceives it, reflecting the inner nature of their souls. For me, I get a woody herbaceous smell, which I like. Some people seem to think that it smells like the dank development of "aroma" found in a men's locker room!

I agree, I thought the same thing when I first smelled uncented witch hazel.

Thayers makes some nice scented witch hazels. I use the Rose Petal after every shave...............Again, ...Personal preference. The scent is short lived and doesn't interfear with any aftershave/cologne applied afterwards............
