The Urgent Care Center is open seven days per week from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. with no appointment necessary. Patients who will benefit from the Urgent Care Center are those who do not have a primary care physician or who cannot be readily seen at their physician office during regular business hours, as well as those with immediate but non-life threatening healthcare needs. Reasons to visit the Urgent Care Center include flu, fever, nausea and vomiting, sprains, urinary infections and minor fractures. Patients with serious conditions such as chest pains or injuries from an automobile accident should continue to seek treatment at the Emergency Department. Based on volume, patients may not be accepted beginning one hour prior to closing. Call (870) 541-8660 for more information.
A physician assistant or advanced practice nurse and support staff are on duty at the Urgent Care Center at all times, and lab and radiology services are also provided. Most insurance is accepted, including Medicare and Medicaid, and if an individual is insured, no payment will be required at the time of treatment. Just like Jefferson Regional, the Urgent Care Center will never turn away anyone based on inability to pay.
