Arlington VA (May 17, 2024) – The Telecommunications Industry Association, which develops standards for the information and communications technology industry, has released a new document, ANSI/TIA-607-E, Generic Telecommunications Bonding and Grounding (Earthing) for Customer Premises.
ANSI/TIA-607-E standard specifies requirements for a generic telecommunications bonding and grounding infrastructure and its interconnection to electrical systems and telecommunications systems. This Standard may also be used as a guide for the renovation or retrofit of existing systems.
New revision needed to:
- Incorporate content of addendum ANSI/TIA-607-D-1
- Update references
