sti intake manifold on wrx?

would a sti intake manifold work on a wrx?
would there be any benefit running a sti manifold over a wrx?

was looking at a 2011 sti and notice the intake was metal compared to the plastic like the wrx.
it also has a much larger tmic which looks like would only. work with the sti manifold
plus looks nicer

just thinking of things to try when i am bored

swapping the intake mani is the only way to get a sti tmic to fit in an 09+wrx

Yes, you would have to swap the STI intake manifold, STI TMIC, and STI turbo all at once for compatibility. Not worth the hassle.

put the money into other parts

kinda what i thought just was wonder if there was any benefit.
i'm planning on a fmic down the road.
