Our organically crafted, luscious Moringa Oil is cold-pressed from the shelled seeds of the Moringa oleifera trees, also called the drumstick tree, the miracle tree, the ben oil tree, or the horseradish tree, native to the Himalayas in Northern India. With its pale, light green hue, and a faint nutty scent and taste, Moringa Oil is widely revered in Ayurveda, a 5,000-year-old system of natural healing that has its origins in the Vedic culture of India.
Moringa Oil contains substantial amount of Behenic Acid (3.0 to 10.0%), the reason why the oil is known commercially as Ben
or Behen
Oil. This fatty acid is a strong conditioning agent that helps to smooth and hydrate hair follicles and is commonly found in shampoos and conditioners.

Suitable for all skin types, including oily and acne-prone skin, Moringa Oil leaves lasting moisture without leaving a greasy residue or clogging pores. The fatty acid profile of Moringa Oil makes it a deeply nourishing and indulgent option for natural skincare products, its application leaving behind a very smooth, almost velvety finish. Moringa Oil is a fantastic addition to moisturising products as it heals and maintains the outer layer of the epidermis whilst nourishing the deeper layers of skin, meaning moisture is retained for longer.
Conditioning and soothing, Moringa Oil is also a great option for mature skin or those areas that will benefit from a bit extra moisturizing. Cosmetic Declaration
Nature In Bottle certify that Moringa Oil is suitable for cosmetic application and is not included in the list of substances prohibited in cosmetic products. Neither does it contain parabens, restricted preservatives, colorants or UV filters (Annex II - VI of EU Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009).
Extraction Method
Nature In Bottle certify that Moringa Oil has been extracted using cold pressing which means it is minimally processed using mechanical extraction (pressure) and low-temperature controlled conditions [at around 80-90°F (26-32°C)] controlled conditions to extract the oil. The phytonutrient-rich oil is then fine-filtered using a screen, to remove any significant solids or undesired impurities from the oil. No chemical solvents, no high-heat temperatures, and no further chemical refining to alter the condition (colour, scent) of the oil.

Nature In Bottle does not conduct or commission animal testing of any cosmetic ingredient, raw material, or formulation of any finished product in the context of Cosmetics Regulation (EC) 1223/2009. Additionally, we do not buy any ingredient, formulation, or product from any supplier or manufacturer that conducted, commissioned, or had been a party to Animal Testing. We also encourages customers who manufacture cosmetics and skin care products to avoid animal-tested ingredients and offer cruelty-free products to their customers.

Non-GMO Statement
Nature In Bottle certify that Moringa Oil is manufactured without the use of genetically modified organisms and without the use of raw materials or processing aids containing or derived from genetically modified material. Nature In Bottle certify that Moringa Oil does not contain chemicals that are listed on California's Safe Drinking Water & Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, also commonly known as Proposition 65 (Prop 65).
Proposition 65, officially known as the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, was enacted as a ballot initiative in November 1986. The proposition protects the state's drinking water sources from being contaminated with chemicals known to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm, and requires businesses to inform Californians about exposures to such chemicals.
Proposition 65 requires the state to maintain and update a list of chemicals known to the state to cause cancer or reproductive toxicity.

Nature In Bottle declare that Moringa Oil is compliant with the European Union Regulation (EC) 1907/2006 governing the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) and does not contain substances above 0.1% weight of a Substance of Very High Concern (SVHC) listed in Annex XIV as of July 16, 2019.
Furthermore, Moringa Oil is also compliant with the European Union Regulation (EC) 1272/2008 Classification, Labeling and Packaging of Substances and Mixtures (CLP Regulation) under entries 28 to 30 of Annex XVII of REACH, which prohibits the use of carcinogenic, mutagenic or reprotoxic category 1A or 1B substances (CMR category 1A or 1B substances) in products supplied to the general public.
