Lets talk about the "burble tune" I need answers!!
Whats the average tune cost for your platform, $350ish
1200 typically. That includes the ecu and the TCU.
Maybe a bit less?
EQT requires the accessport, so youre already in 600-800 right there.

APR has ECU/TCU for $500 each for the GTI. I assume these just have off the shelf tunes and dyno/road tunes with shop is extra.

similar to palm beach dyno i see lol
I used to have BOV's on my WRX and MR2 Turbo back in the day. Burble Tune is just the modern day version of it IMHO and
I mean, I love my blow off valve though
So is the same as a ghost tune ?
No, the ghost cam tune is still gay but at least it replicates a cammed out car vs some coffee can muffler having p.o.s burble tune.

Theyre big in the german world. They produce safe tunes but dont make dick for power on my platform, imo. And you never see them going fast. I think they're owned by the same company that owns Holley, so they've had to change up to me more EPA complient now, which doesnt help.
Burble, pop tunes, no. Now if your a turbo car, and talking about anti lag, which i think most are trying to make their car sound like it has, then yes
Yeah, antilag is definatly a whole different thing, def a benefit to that 100%, I guess like you said this is what everyone wants to "have it" even on an N/A combo lol

The burble tunes are on flow master having POS American cars too.

Yes unfortunately I have to agree with this, however its mainly priced out junkboxes that are most common lol
Anti-lag on a rally car? Siiick
Pops and bangs on your moms hand me down bmw? Laaaame
^^^^
I agree. If the car is made for racing, and is actually racing where anti-lag is needed, fine. It's off-road use and it's okay, almost expected.
If you have it on a street car that's on the street, you're just a douche. Let me revise that, if you use it on the street regardless of what kind of vehicle (car or motorcycle), you're a douche and deserved to get hit in the nuts with a bag of nickels by everyone around you.
This ok?
I’m sure the boobs will make it ok!

Yeah, both of those suck. I'm not picking on you, we're Honda friends but the burble stuff is the loudest possible cry out to have other dudes finger your butt.
I wish I could remember who the tuner was that went on a huge rant on their website about how and why they won't work with anyone asking for novelty tunes. It was awesome and made me want to buy something.
All the tuners basically say they only do it because it's an easy way to make a shitton of money.
I’m sure I would get sick of it over time. I heard a BMW the other day with it and it didn’t sound that great IRL.
I guess I just want a little more noise from the GTI, but really I want more reliable power. Hence the want for a CTR with about 80-90 more HP over the GTI.
But then again, I fucking loved that ARC BOV I had on the MR2 and the Forge BOV I had on the WRX, but I was also a young boy then.
Buy an R and save yourself 30k.

BOV noises are like 1000x better sounding than the burble stuff, It's just a poof or a choo choo choo, I miss them to be honest.

Naw.

Making 3800's Great Again
I need to figure this out for the tr do I can start driving past this kids house with the ST....see how he likes waking up to it
Put the timing table at 0 for the very low load high rpm cells and make sure DCFCO is disabled. It will be obnoxious AF
I get the hate, obviously it's pointless. But I have it on my turbo Prix and enjoy the hell out of it. sorry don't care
Just looked, new MK8 Golf R are in the mid to upper 50s. Looks like there’s a dealer in Waekeagn with a bunch of used MK7 Golf R’s in the mid to upper 30s. New isn’t worth it and used isn’t what I’m looking for.
