Naturally aspirated intake manifold

Picked this up a while back and been meaning to start modding it.... Recent gearbox re-fresh(4th gear failed on dyno) meant I have a bit of time before mapping. So... Time to start chopping/smoothing and porting the long runner 2.5 n/a manifold. Few pics of process so far... Need to get it...

Few pics of process so far... Need to get it all welded up and some blanks welded into inside of runners for the venom injectors I use for nitrous.

Wow mate. I've seen them in a few pictures and wondered what engine/car they came off. Now I know.

Whats the benefits of one of these vs a classic inlet. Do they flow better over or give more space? :)

They flow slightly better than the cosworth manifold... Not quite as much as the process west one...

Pics prob tell the story...

These can be had for less than 200 quid but obviously need a bit of work in order to fit...

If rotated on a classic you need to cut the lid off or they foul bonnet... New age onwards they fit okay.

Standard inlet was at limit on mine....

Got an idea for the lid when I weld it back on..... Will post pics on progress

Good friend of mine did his a while back on his 850hp time attack Gc8 so I have had some guidance on process pic of his below..

Thanks for sharing, is yours replacing a newage manifold. Car look familiar are you Rooferman from scobynet?

Really good upgrade this I had one and was ready to fit it but never got round to it. Should help with torque as well.

And Roofer settings.... 22b
