Fitting a new toilet on uneven floor

Admin
I'm fitting a new low level toilet on an uneven tiled floor at home, I removed the old toilet and there was a pile of cement under the toilet. I've chiseled away as much as I can but there's a little bit of a rock when I put the new one in place. Any suggestions?

Nah........... use plumbersmait/saniseal to cushion the porcelein againat any high spots, this also acts as seal to prevent ingress of those nasty fluids that get spilt down the outside of WC's. Drill and screw the pan using SF snapcaps to cushion the screwhead against the hole, and cover the head (against corrosion and its tidier too)

Can't remember the last time I cemented a pan down, must be 20 years or more.......

I've actually used offcuts of lino before now.

Used properly the lino finds its own thickness and puts no stress on the pan. Gaps that are too small for the lino get filled with silicone.

Lino that is sticking out gets trimmed off.
