Differences between WRX RA and STI RA???

I’ve recently bought a 96 wrx ra to have a bit of fun with and I’m obviously new to the Impreza scene, but I was wondering what are the differences between the sti ra and wrx ra??

Sorry if this is a stupid question but I’m looking to learn as much as I can

Fundamentally the WRX RA is an even more pared down version of the STI RA with no DCCD and less output on the early cars but still the low ratio box and closed deck block if I'm correct also on the early cars.

Depends on exact age / model of car - later MY97> STi RA had larger R180 rear diff / hubs / shafts, better brakes as well as other specific differences

I'd put it the other way around since every WRX Type RA STi version starts life as a semi stripped down WRX, which is then tuned and specced up by STi.
The Version 1 cars, however, were hand built.

Some differences you might find are seats, interior bits (steering wheels, gear knobs, speedo clusters,..), rear spoiler, engine + drivetrain as mentioned above, the pink grille badge, and I thought -depending on model year- the RA STi was the only one to receive the 13:1 quick rack.
