I have some older one’s in here and in some of those there are dubious consent so fair warning for that. Make sure to check which one’s are which so that you aren’t blindsided by it. These aren’t in any particular order either. I hope you enjoy these!

A newer BL anime that I’m absolutely in love with! It’s cute, the story is just so adorable and all of the characters are likeable and sweet. It’s an interesting time and I think it deserves the world.

This show is a hurricane of emotions and romance and it’s one of the best modern BL in the genre. If Kure into BL this is a must see for you.

This is Akihiko’s and Haruki’s time to shine and get some things that were weighing them down behind them. It’s a well needed addition to the series.

This series is a lot of fun and is written by the same person who did Junjou Romantica. It’s a less problematic series in my opinion but it’s still has some dubious consent. It’s a wonderful anime in my opinion and I enjoy it quite a bit so I have no problem recommend it to others.

I absolutely adore this series. It goes more in depth in the acting industry in Japan than a lot of other acting BL manga. It’s the only one to get an anime adaptation and it’s a funny, sexy, and adorable show that I think deserves all the love it can get and more.

This is a pretty wholesome show that takes a refreshing take on overly aggressive seme’s. It’s not revolutionary like most people will tell you but it does present the noncon in most BL and says “No that’s wrong.” I appreciate that.

A love story that has a pretty controversial dynamic of teacher and student and while I do enjoy this story I also acknowledge that this is nothing to want in real life. I think it could be potentially triggering so be careful with this one.

This was my first BL series and I’m only recommending it because of that fact. It’s basically a slideshow of the manga with amazing voice actors that make you melt while you’re watching it and so I’ll recommend it only because of that fact and then beg you to read the manga right after.

This movie is so sweet and amazingly romantic. My heart would pound on almost every one of these guys’ interactions. They are just that sweet. I even bought the novel that this was adapted from. Definitely watch this movie.

This is a Korean BL and it is one of the cutest BL series I’ve ever read/watched (because there is a manhwa). The animation are some short and cute scenes from the series and so I wouldn’t watch this first but it is super adorable so definitely go ahead and read the manhwa first and then watch this.

This mystery BL is such an amazing series that I don’t really know what to say. It’s incredibly underrated and it’s a very beautiful gem that deserves more attention. This show walked so that The Night Beyond the Tricornered Window could run. Every character has its own unique backstory and has depth. The characters feel real and their problems are your problems. The world itself is fascinating and every moment you watch your on the edge of your seat. Not only that, the two male main leads have so much chemistry that it’s hard to stop thinking about them. They leave an impression on you. WATCH THIS!!!!!!!

This is a mystery thriller BL, the romance between the two main characters is a bit twisted. This newer BL is very interesting to me and the plot just keeps you wondering about the two main characters. It’s a pretty fun series to check out.

This is an absolutely adorable series about a boy with cat ears and tendencies and another boy who falls in love with him. It’s absolutely adorable and you find yourself in love by the end of it. It’s more of a slice of life feel but it doesn’t ever get boring.

These are anthologies of different romantic and platonic cute scenes from the same couple in different universes. Sometimes they are in a post apocalyptic world, sometimes they’re in mode times, sometimes they’re in high school, sometimes they’re in college, and you just watch a these two guys who are fated to be with each other find one another. It’s absolutely adorable and the episodes aren’t usually too long.

Two guys with very different personalities and hobbies find themselves attracted to one another and they try to maintain a relationship despite their differences. It’s fun, cute, emotional, it’s a great movie!

An OVA based on a BL video game, it’s pretty smutty scenes that were animated based on the bad endings from the video game. I wouldn’t say to watch this if you’re sensitive to dubcon or noncon.

Vassalord is an angsty OVA that is just really strange and cool. It’s a really unique premise and the two main leads have so much chemistry it’s insane. It’s only one episode and it’s a short and confusing watch but I think it’s worth it.

This drama is incredibly well written. I think that it could be a little discouraging to people who have DID as it’s not a very accurate portrayal. As a story, it’s very interesting and the characters are all very well thought out and the mystery of it all is super intriguing as well. The one thing I don’t like about it though is that as a person with a mental illness myself, I wish that the people who made this had more information on DID. The two main male leads have amazing chemistry and I think they’re adorable. I would’ve rated it higher if it was just a better look into people who suffer from the illness that they were trying to discuss.

This BL is an old, old show and it’s super freaking adorable. It’s deep and emotional as well as funny and cute. I can’t ever stop rewatching this series. It’s a classic in BL and if you’re going to watch BL, you’ve got to watch this one.

This is a really dark BL but it’s fascinating and mysterious. It’s a great series, like Honoo no Mirage, with a very intriguing concept and world. It’s a thrilling series, different from most BL that you’ll find.

This is an old sci-fi BL in a world that is very dark, the two main male leads are in a very toxic and confusing relationship that no one would recommend. This is definitely a dark romance and it’s also very smutty, if you would be put off by those things then this show is not for you.

This show is incredibly hilarious and adorable. I absolutely love these two and I think that this is a classic that not enough people have seen. Fake is just an amazing show. WATCH THIS!!!

This series is a toxic mess, like it has it’s good moments. Though those are few and far between and it’s only three episodes. It’s an older series based on a manga written in the year 2000 and so… toxic and tragic. I’d say if you’re sensitive to emotional abuse and actual abuse, probably don’t check this one out. If not, I’d say check it out since it’s only 3 episodes. It’s interesting and unique, it’s just uncomfortable sometimes.

Written by the same author of Fuyu No Semi, this show is muchhhh better and less toxic. It’s about two actors and it’s sexy and fun. I think that this show is definitely worth a watch. It’s got pretty good animation for it’s time and I love it so give this a go.

I love this series and the movies that are out and on the way. It’s dark, it’s a mafia BL and it’s really good. It knows how to make you emotional and on your toes. It’s also sexy, watch these.

I LOVE THIS SERIES. It’s an isekai BL with amazing characters and funny situations. I’d say read the manga before watching this just because in the anime they’re all in chibi form. Other than that, after you read the manga, this show is adorable. I kind of want a real adaption but I’m happy with this as well.
